University Physics

University Physics introduces the central concepts and methods used to describe the physical world. The course develops a connected understanding of mechanics, thermodynamics, electromagnetism, waves, optics, and selected topics in modern physics.

Teaching emphasizes:

  • translating physical situations into clear models;
  • connecting equations with measurable phenomena;
  • checking approximations, dimensions, and limiting cases;
  • developing systematic problem-solving habits;
  • relating foundational principles to modern science and technology.

Course materials and announcements can be added here as they become available.
