We investigate open-system charging of Rabi and Dicke quantum batteries under direct incoherent pumping. Lindblad dynamics describes the charging process, while effective non-Hermitian generators help interpret the conditioned no-jump mechanism. In the Rabi battery, pumping suppresses coherent energy backflow and broadens the high-energy charging window. For finite Dicke batteries, it can also improve stored energy, ergotropy, and timing robustness. The charging-power metric includes pump-assisted contributions, and comparisons between collective and independent charging depend on the available pump input.
